Alan Turing Early Life
Alan Mathison Turing was born on June 23rd 1912, Maida Vale London. Alan grew up with his older brother John Ferrier Turing and his two parents Julius Mathison Turing and Ethel Sara Stoney. He had gone to school at Sherborne in England. Alan had grew up being very independent and didn't really "fit" in with other students. Although he wasn't very social, he had been very intelligent. He had met a student named Christopher Morcom. Christopher had been interested into the same things as Alan had been. They became very close friends. Alan had an "Unspoken Crush" on Christopher. Later they had both attended the University of Cambridge. They had been closer than ever until... Christopher had an unattended death on February 13, 1930. Alan had gone through very deep depression until he overcame all of the trauma and then got a scholarship as an undergraduate into Kinds College Cambridge.
Interests Alan had many interests in his life some dealing with education as in mathematics, science, engineering and logic number sense. Alan had always been looking for challenges, lets just say he was addicted to learning and thinking. Turing had also been interested in running athletics. He had been an Olympic level runner. Alan ran lots of marathons and ran daily as far as he wanted to when he wasn't working on homework or working on his machines.

Alan was a fantastic inventor and mathematical genius but Turing had a secret. Alan Turing had been a homosexual. Homosexuality is when a person is interested in someone the same gender, In the time of his interest in men, it had been illegal in the United Kingdom. It had become a huge factor in his life that he payed for it in the end.
